Steve Guttenberg, can you hear me?

Aren't I just so cute? Except I look nothing like the girl depicted in the drawing. Maybe the rimmed glasses or the brown hair. I certainly don't wear garments from the 1800s or have an impossibly round face (though I kinda wished). Drawn on paper, and "inked" on Photoshop. This is the first project for my Relief Printmaking class. It gives me great pleasue to know we'll be printing with the same method that Mr. Johann Guttenberg revolutionized back in the 1400's (because without him and some other smart dudes from the Early Rennaisance, we'd still be stuck in the Middle Ages).... (wait, we still are??). It may look intimidating and finger-choppin' friendly, but the Vandercook Press it's actually pretty to use. Can't wait to make cute stationery with it!
Fun stuff!
