I need your help

For a few weeks I've been telling people Star Magnolia will probably open its binary doors by December, but in all honesty, that won't happen. Considering I haven't fully customized osCommerce as I want it to, I can't put up any products...not that I have any. Well, I do have paper goods, two or three bags, but not enough. Which leads me to the question at hand...

For those of you awesome people who already have established online shops, how much merchandise did you open it with? What products did you emphasize more on? How have you been able to replenish your stock after most of those first items are sold? And how often do you add products?

I think one of my problems is the speed I do my crafts with, and pretty much everything else. I sincerely believe I carry a "Slow Gene". I eat slow, I draw slow, I blog slow, I carry myself slowly. I don't walk or think slow, funnily enough though. Actually, yes I do think slow hehe. I'm sure most of us either have a full time job, or go to school, or are busy with family. But I can't seem to create fast enough. Maybe I unknowingly waste too much time. I have been trying to cut down my internet time. I finished my SW novel, so that's out of the way (Jacen, you're still in big bantha poodoo). I just come back home so tired and slow. Thankfully the temperature's cooling down, so the heat won't tire me even more (I ride a bike).

What do y'all do in terms of time management when it comes to your crafts? Any tips and/or suggestions?

Any help will be mooost appreciated! :)

I can´t answer because i haven´t an on-line shop just yet, but i also think everything takes me too much time, maybe is because we want to make things as perfectly as possible? If i were you, i will open the shop just with one each of the things you´d want to offer, and make more stuff on request, you never know what is going to sell best! I also think your paper goods are awesome, i will love to see more of those!^^

perfect is a good thing. You don't want to sell products that you don't think are your best effort. Just put up what ever you have made up for sale, less is more ;) Like the person above said you can aways make things on order, which is good so you avoid having things laying around and taking up space. I don't have a TV, which makes me slightly more productive than the average person (maybe). And i don't have any friends so that gives me extra time, talking on the phone makes my brain hurt, so I don't do much of that, if you have a boyfriend, stop that, that takes up tons o' time :). I haven't been able to do much lately either because I've had a lot of work to do, so don't feel bad about yourself, you are not a machine...that's all I have for today.
