Ahoy matey!
Forgot to post this last entry. At the Union Square Holiday Market in NYC I met this lady (Delong Ceramics)who creates these really nifty ceramic boat cleats that you hang your coat, hats (does anybody wear them anymore?) and whatever else looks good them. She also had on display ceramic plates depicting subway scenes and what I believed was the Brooklyn Bridge. Awesome to the max.
And I believe another lady in the Delong Ceramics brand creates some of the most stunning collage work I've seen around. Oh man I so wanted to buy one.
