And this is how my day was spent...

I heart wasting time

Because this is my (horribly unofficial and unhealthy) "day off" from school and work I decided to make a pair of earrings and then photograph my whole collection, because I felt the Intarnets needed to see where I spend 62% of my income. So behold! Jewelry extravaganza '06! YEAHH!

The first two pairs (wow, I almost wrote "pears". I am one grammatically incorrect hot mama) were actually made by me! Mind you, I don't do jewelry. Perhaps some millenia ago in ninth grade I attempted to arrange my seed beads into "necklaces" but my friend Mariola quickly took over that market in the dirty halls of my school. "Pear" number one is...some sort of 60-cents-per-gram pink quartz and the second one features two lovely heart shaped glass beads with aquamarine pearldrops. The chain and findings are all sterling silver.

Okay, click below because images are big and you'll hate me for hogging your bandwidth.

1) The nicest gift my ex gave me: earrings from India Romeo (and yes, I am stealing her photo display setup from last year); 2) Earrings given to me by the super talented Lulu Bird in exchange for photographing her jewelry.

1) & 2) With my mad designing skills, my friend Eryka Fiedler constructed these lovely earrings. I believe these were the first casualties in my handmade jewelry obsession. Note to self: Don't ever wear earrings like Mr. Octopus here with knitted scarves. Yeah.

1) & 2) Super awesome Danwei from Cornyness made these fun summer earrings last year. Still remember one girl in my class saying that looking at the starfish earrings made her happy! 3) Yummy earrings from Britta Barett that I bought from her at Mutation #2. 4) For a while there was nothing more that I wanted than berry earrings ('cause I guess they were all the rage back then)(and by back then I mean, 8 months ago) so I was quite delighted and happy when my darling Flo (Sugar Blossom Boutique) had them in her display at Mutation #2!

1) & 2) Mariola, who, as I mentioned earlier, dominated the handmade jewelry empire back in high school, made these. They are quite the source for entertainment; when I am bored at class I start playing with #2s, hitting my cheeks with them, but by this time I am so numbly bored that I don't feel the hard amber at all. 3) (store bought) Laura from Montreal traded these very noisy (which also amuses me as I ride my bike at 100mph because I'm late for class like 100% of the time) earrings for one of my Bob plushies. 4) (store bought) The most punk earrings I've ever owned. Got 'em at the coolest thrift shop I've seen, Civvies, here in the SAV.

Whoa... *jealous* I would be a lucky gal if I had half of those! I'm happy to see "my" earrings in your lovely collection though! *still jealous*

Sorry by the way for being away from your attractive blog for so long. I've been eh... away. In the US actually :D
Anyway, the answer to the question you asked centuries ago about a direct link to my blog is:
