Clapping to the Rhythm of the Waves

boutonnaire01.jpg

Despite not having a proper workplace (or heck, even a job), I've been trying to craft as much as possible while staying at my friend's house. It's what's keeping me up and happy during these tough days of anxiously waiting for money. Drawn up plenty of ideas that may or may not see the light. But it's good to be creating once again.

Now y'all know I am obsessed with Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine, so I took a little inspiration from the tear sheet below and created my own little boutonniere with vintage buttons, brown ribbon, wire and muslin (btw, I love muslin). How cute would these look as brouches for your Fall coats?

I separate my ideas with dashed lines.

Cute little drawing. Plan to make it as a fabric "painting" sometime soon. :D
