Amy Nieto is a Published Supernova
If you will recall three months ago I had mentioned several times (though rather shyly) a certain magazine article I was working on, that was causing a constant delay to leave Savannah (when in truth, I just didn't wanna leave). Well, ladies and gentlemen, here it is!!

BEHOLD, the Savannah, Georgia Travel Guide for Adorn Magazine Fall 2007! ZOMG!11!! A small guide for all you crafty and artsy kids, I take you through Savannah's most unique boutiques shops, galleries, tourist attractions and cupcake headquarters!
When Adorn's first issue came out last Summer, I immediately emailed them with the idea of an article about Savannah. Miss Linda Permann finally contacted me this April (the 13th to be exact, I was mailing my tax papers, late of course) and asked if I was still interested in contributing to the magazine for this article. Like, duh! So I spent the next month photographing, interviewing, cupcaking, writing, REwriting (my Savannah friends will probably remember the exact amount of rewrites I had to do).
It was during this writing process when I developed doubts about leaving this wonderful city. Every bit of Savannah inspired me in ways no other place has. In the end, I had to say my sad goodbyes. So my dear Savannah, these words overflowing with love and nostalgia are for you. I miss you dearly, dearly.
I am also very honored to have my name included among some of my favorite bloggers in this issue: the ultra colorful and fashion guru Tricia Royal; the fantastic, thoughtful writer and creator of all things darling, Alicia Paulson; Holly Becker of decor8, writer of one of the best design blogs ever, and many more whose names will become familiar shortly, I am sure.
I urge you to pick up this issue (hits newsstands on August 6th) at major bookstores or crafts stores. This issue's theme is creating with what you recycle, a great source for people who want to save a buck or two and wish to contribute to the ecological improvement of our Earth (this is something I've been serious about in the past few months).
This weekend will be homework weekend- homework of the crafty, creative kind! Now that I finally have chains for my jewelry, I'll make lovely use of all these beads I've spent ridiculous amounts of money on. ^_^ I also received these fantastic mags in the mail:

Plenty of reading material. Plenty of design to digest. Plenty of pictures to cut up and paste in my design notebook. Plenty of awesomeness and happy thoughts!!!
Can't end this post without images of Bead Hotawesomeness!

Me encantaría leer tu artículo, ¡qué pena que Adorn no llegue a España! Ni Domino, ni Blueprint, ni Real Simple... ¡ninguna de esas fantásticas revistas!
