Remnants.
Rain made a few explicit nightly visits to Vegas last week. After all the commotion and the promises, and the lies, and the secrets were revealed there was an odd sense of calm, a few clouds weren't strong enough to hold the light in, and the valley was lit in half nostalgia, half expectation. Like the seconds before opening your mailbox, or the seconds that pass between you and someone impossible as you quietly stare at this very scene of nature, six feet apart, thinking "yeah fat chance of us ever happening". And you're back to square one... knowing perfectly well it's where you've always been.
Work with me here, guys, I'm trying to be poetic, but the exhaustion this weekend brought on to me has drained my brain of any words past four letters. Scrabble is hard when you're tired, I've noticed.
Anyways, the purpose of this post is to present to you some lovely images that I have fallen in love with. Shot yesterday, after a challenging day at work, enjoying the sunshine that zig-zagged through the clouds before the late February moon marched in.
I am going to do product photography (see how I almost typed want to do?), so I am getting a little bit more elaborate with how I want these images to look like. Though, the images below probably aren't the best examples, but they're still pretty and that's the point of showing them. Okay? Good.

So yes, the Kodak Duaflex is my new baby, purchased to capture Through the Viewfinder images.
Today, a most wonderful thing happened. Not life-altering by any means, but images of peaceful moments came back to me. I will share with y'all shortly. I can't believe I never printed these pictures until now.
I haven't been this in love with photography since...2004.
I'm unbearably happy.

I just got an Argus 75. I haven't had time for it though...to make the contraption to go between the digital and the viewfinder.
did you find a good method? you must let me know.
