I live surrounded by quaintness

So, I moved. Again. I lived in a guesthouse for the past two months and decided to bail out early because I just couldn't put up with the Crazy Cat and the No Eating in Bedrooms rule. Other than that it was nice. Big room, my own bathroom. BUT I had to move on... to a more affordable rent. So I moved into this super quaint 1920s house on the SE area of Portland, with two roommates. My room has a friggin' window bench. Like, I totally feel completely American now.

The pink is GOING. No offense, y'all know I love me some pink. But this one is a bit nauseating. The plan is to repaint the room YELLOW! Like so:

I shall do this to combat the Portland winter. I'm kinda scared of it, actually. :(

The kitchen is so bright and lovely. :) :)

Built-ins!!!!! The only thing that ABSOLUTELY SUCKS about my new pad is that the little stream of water coming out of the shower is.... well, SAD. VERY SAD. And that... DRIVES.ME.IN.SANE.

But it's one small pet peeve compared to all the cuteness this house offers. Ahh, I missed living among such little details. Reminds me of my Savannah...
