The Fog Clears

laurelhurstpond.jpg

It's 2:56 pm on a calm but steady Sunday afternoon and only just now the fog cleared to reveal the Sun still warming us. If you know me, then you know I love fog. Nevermind it blocks the light, I find it fascinating, ominous and absolutely cinematic.

But I love it even more when it dissipates, like magic, often too sudden, like a kid who is scramming away after realizing he did something wrong and father Sun is about to reprimand him.

A hazy light is shining over Portland. Just came back from a photo shoot with a gorgeous, down to Earth high school senior at Laurelhurst Park. Off to work, boo. But before I do, and the too early darkness arrives, I marvel at the specular highlights created by the glass bottles on my window sill.

Little moments of Sunlight, I'm guessing they will carry my through the Winter.

Oh Amy I love, love, love, love, love those shots. The first one looks so whimsical. It's gorgeous. And I love the effect those glass jars create. Lovely indeed.

Quick question, are rainboots good during the cold weather? I mean, I've never tried them on, so I don't not if they are well insulated especially during the winter. Those 2 are cute!
