{re}experimenting with film

My roommate's dog, Balboa, and I rarely ever see eye to eye. But we've learned to co-exist in this house.

Last weekend I rented out a Nikon F5 35mm camera to reacquaint my senses to the sensibility of film. With a little bit of inspiration from my good friend and photographer, Hilary, who has recently "reversed" to film, I decided it is time I revisit my roots. Sunday was a cold, windy, but radiantly Sunny day in Portland, with the Winter Sun hanging ever so lowly in the Sky through out its daily journey. Perfect for taking portraits of pretty people. :) Behold.... Amy and Film (more to come!!).

Yuki modeled for me and my roommate, who is a makeup artist, way up on Mt Tabor in the freeeeeezing, windy hours of the morning. VERY COLD.

We finally made it back to our house. Isn't she so pretty?

Laurelhurst Park, SE Portland. Ahhhh.
