Update on my bed/work room
Some of you may remember the post a few days back where I was PLEADING for decorating help. Well, someone came to my rescue by the name of Alyssa Hursch. Alyssa is a Minnesota transplant who is looking to build her interior design portfolio and offered to help me. Within 5 minutes of stepping into my room she saved my life. I had planned of getting rid of the big eyesore of a 6 foot long picnic table to be replaced by a smaller cute desk. Her solution? Move it to the middle of the room, facing the door, instead of facing a WALL. Why didn't I think of this before? Today was brief day #2 in which a few boxes (now plastic and clear yay!) were moved around. Her guidance was helpful enough for me to get my own interior design enthusiast skills going. Also, MY BED IS ABOVE GROUND!!!!!
Our next step? Paint paint!! Which I was sorta against because of big plans of a place of my own and a small office. But really that won't happen till at least much LATER this year, so I might as well enjoy the little darling of a place I have now. These are a few of the colors that will pop into my room:
Last night I finally pulled out all my magazine scraps and began creating my idea notebook. Maybe I'll post a few of the pages in here.

Lovely room and great ideas. I can't wait to see what you guys will do with the walls. I understand you perfectly well. I'd love to do something fun with my walls, etc, but since I plan to move (hopefully during the summer) I will wait until I have my new place. Good luck with everything and thanks for the tag in the newer post.

Oh, Oh, I can't wait to see the results! I LOVE redecorating! I'm jealous of how much space you have in that room and the lovely windows.
